The Pogues Irish Whiskey
Irish whisky is produced in an independent distillery in the cool climate of West Cork, where it is made only in small quantities and exclusively from premium quality local wheat and barley. This is one of the reasons why it has earned the nickname of the Irish rule-breaking rebel. The latter may be the fact that it was co-founded by the legendary Celtic punk band The Pogues and Irish whisky producer Frank McHardy, a well-known rebel and experimenter who dedicated his life to whisky-making.
